I was given this album by a friend. Its great just as a piece of artwork.

I've spent a few hours checking the internet- but whoever said 'Beatles' autographs were rare!

Its been really interesting to read how their signatures developed over time. And I'm amazed how you're able to tell the difference between good and bad autographs straight away.

Opinions please- does the album get to stay on my mantlepiece......

Hi Nick,

Unfortunately i am extremely confident that these signatures are poor forgeries. To be honest, i imagine your friend knew that, lol. A Beatles signed album would be worth at minimum tens of thousands of dollars, so i doubt someone would choose to give that away. But their are some generous people out their, so you just never know.

In any event, i am very confident these  are fake, but you will get much more feedback from the Beatles experts here.

Take Care

Carl

hi nick, carl is correct, sorry, these are no good.

Well I' m happy the album gets to stay with me!

Out of interest you able to tell me when Ringo started to use the star sign as part of his signature? All the other 'older' albums I've looked at he signed his name in full.

Why are you "happy" about this?

I believe Ringo started to use the star sign in the early 90´s

Happy?

Imagine the moral dilemma. If the album was worth tens of thousands then I would have to give it back......

Or pack my bags and head for somewhere far, far away!

You are the first person here that is happy to own fake autographs :-)
