Why do these card companies use mountings that often hide part of the autographs??? They could cut the openings custom with little human assistance.

The autographs look great to me, BTW.

At least leaf cuts doesn't hide the autographs. Tony Curtis' anonymous secretary's signature should be unobstructed.

Can you explain why you think this is a secretarial autograph? Thanks.
Great, thanks for the info. I had been planning on buying a Curtis auto, so now I know what to avoid.
I'd take a look at one you're looking at if it's on some auction site or something and give my fairly educated opinion on it, for a nominal fee of $0 dollars.

Thanks, Brick,

I'll contact you when I start my quest.

Im not so sure about the lennon.  the harrison looks good.
I know, the Lennon caused me to pause a bit...but it really looks like his writing to me.
I know Lennon was all over the place with his signature, and I have studied hundreds of them with several variations. but this one just doesn't look right.  Especially the last name, but even the John bothers me.  it could be real, but I wouldn't want it in my collection.
I dont like the card myself but the owner seems to think it worth 5000 dollars! Just because its a trading card and the only one with beatle signatures that he knows of and its authenticated by psa?

I don't think his price is unreasonable, Louie. A set of Beatles cuts is $3,500+ on the low end and John and George are the rarest, obviously. The rare Upper Deck cards often go for a big premium because they have a scarcity all their own, so I wouldn't be surprised if he got in the $5,000 range.

That said, I'd rather have a signed piece of memorabilia or something with content.
