The estimate is far too low but here is the link:

The auction house sent me a copy of the Tracks offer which I could post if need be.

Bang goes any hope of a steal on this....

Post away PUG!

The things I do for the sake of mankind....

Odd that the letter isn't signed but I cannot believe it is a fake..

Ha.

350, wow hasn't times changed.

Love your work,Pug.

Thanks Paul. Re the £350, you've got to remember this was an offer from a dealer who would have been looking to double his money at least, maybe even triple it - and the offer was made over 20 years ago.

Just went to £3,300 + Buyer's Premium, so getting on for £4,000 total. Auctioneer said that he had never seen so many bids "on the book" (started at £2,800) and that the winner came from "Obama Country". Maybe being on here helped the price.

Obviously it was a nice clean set which is probably "what the market wants" but I actually found it a little too neutral - plain PC back, no inscription etc.

Pardon my ignorance, but where do you see that?  I'm on the auction page and all it shows is the original estimate.  Cheers!

Hi Alexander, I was listening to it live through "the saleroom.com". I had vague ideas of bidding but only up to a laughable amount. The realised prices should be on the saleroom site for 3 days, starting pretty soon.

Sold for £3,300 plus commission, I got the other set.
I was the lucky winner of this beautiful set.I promised myself I would take a break, but then this piece came along and I placed a top bid on it.Didnt know I won it until I called them about a half hour ago.3300 plus 20% total came to about 5800 us.personally think that I got it at a very reasonable price considering that kind of money you see album pages sell for.
And yes.i live in Obama country.lol
