The Beatles signed Peppermint Lounge postcard: After 10 years I finally got it!

I'm a huge fan of everything "1st Visit," and I've wanted a piece signed on the night they did Sullivan for a long time.

Actually, Ive been looking for a specific set that I knew existed everyday for at least 10 years. I checked all the typical sellers everyday.

Then, what do you know, Perry lists it last week and I won it.

I'm just so very happy. I hope you guys understand.

Congratulations!!! I am going to ask a potentially very stupid question - maybe I missed something in reading. Pardon and with all respect - how is it determined this was not signed on the 10th?

I have seen a few sets  signed from the Sullivan show because they played twice on the same day.

I understand, but how is it known this was signed on that date? Unless I misunderstood, they were swamped with press stuff the next day. How can it be known this card was not picked up at the club, unable to be signed, and signed a bit later?

Well its quiet plausible it was signed anytime The Beatles were around the studio or promotions it doesn't bother me that much if it was either way.

Oh me either - it is a great piece! I was just curious because - it IS a great piece! Congrats again to Mark!!!

I see Mark said "specific set" - perhaps there is more to this :)

I knew this particular set existed and I was waiting for it to become available for like 10 years.

Hi Mark,

I can certainly appreciate that! I have waited 15 years or so for a few things - nothing like finally getting it! :)

Congrats! Very excited for you. It’s a great item!

Thanks

Glad to see you so happy with it, especially after searching for it for a decade. You can make the money back but you won't find another of this specific item. And you have a couple great Beatles authenticators on it.

Congrats!

How much was it ten years ago?

I actually think it was about the same. Maybe a few hundred less back then.
