what's the best way to ship a 16x20 photo? it's currently in a top loader, do they make cardboard mailers that big or would it be safer shipping in a tube? thanks for any input

I ship 16x20 photos from time to time. I use the top loaders and put them in a 18x24 kraft stay flat mailer. I include additional cardboard for durability and have never had a problem yet. It takes a real use of force to bend them, and the top loader would still prevent any creasing or tears.

I would never roll a photograph.  I would do as suggested, and ship flat on several layers of cardboard.  You should cut your cardboard in alternating directions to further avoid the possibility of bending.
