He started a post and deleted the items image after getting a negative opinion, then after discussion deleted his replies, closed the topic and changed his profile to private
I think members here should be careful dealing with him especially when it comes to a disney autograph
Here's the original post, with his replies deleted of course

Thanks for the info

People can close their own threads if they wish, not sure why this is an issue?

Closing the thread isn't the issue. Deleting the image after getting a negative opinion, then deleting all his comments and changing his profile surely isn't something someone without something to hide would do?

Did you read the original thread?

Carlos,

This is a community, not a lynch mob. While I didn't think it was right for Autograph Buff to delete the content from his discussion, that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with him. Please stop calling people out unless you have clear proof they acted fraudulently.

Yes Carlos I have read the discussion but fail to see what issue is. As Steve  says this is not a lynch mob. We want more people to join the site and accusing people of being frauds does not help or welcome people and makes the site appear unfriendly.

People may not like the answer but everyone has their own way and people should be helped and welcomed whatever their opinions so we can increase awareness throughout the autograph world!

What kind of community would it be if everyone deleted their posting as soon as they received the answer they are looking for?   I can agree that there was no proof but something about that thread was off

I agree. It wouldn't be much of a community at all. I'm not happy that Autograph Buff deleted his content, but it's not enough to accuse him of acting fraudulently or telling people to beware of him.

Ok well maybe that can be edited BUT I still think members should be aware of him as it showed he was willing to hide things from the community here

I appreciate your concern, Carlos, but I don't think he deserves being condemned for what he did. And who knows? Phil Sears may think that it's real.

That is part of my concern steve - I've seen time and time again on here where an item has passed third party only to be shown as fake on this site.
That's why I think it was important that he leave the pic up - what if it passes only to be shot down on here later? When all he needed to do was leave it up

As he hinted at - he took it down incase the TPA saw your comment and was swayed. He would have left it up had your comment been favorable!

I don't think any TPA would be swayed by my opinion. In any case, we can't do anything about it now.

thats understandable for sure.
