it might be worth keeping an eye on amazon UK too, they seem to have two entries for the CD - one is unsigned and available and the other has just gone up as 'currently unavailable' with no picture yet...could be a holding listing for a signed CD in the next few days...?

Having looked at it more closely I think it has been auto penned! Please let me know your thoughts. It will be very interesting if all the HMV ones are similar.

Mine arrived today. It has the auto pen dots, but is not identical to previous examples.

Just received mine from JPC Germany and compared it with my signed "Dancing with Myself" book. Looks good to me. Smudges are visible, but I had that kind of problems with the silver pen signatures from Sting's "Duets" cards. What's really underwhelming is the small size (4 x 4 inches).
