I bought this from a reliable seller a while back. I have no doubts about the signature, but I just hope it's real ink. I'm not very familiar with fountain pink of this color (which I'm assuming it is). It's a cut from fairly thick page - smallish about 1 inch by 2 inches, cut by the seller to sell the signature on the reverse as well. The top edge of the page is gilded.

Does this ink look like what a vintage ink fountain pen signature should look like, or could it by any way be something printed?

So you really do think it's real? If so, that's awesome - been worried!

From what I can see, it appears so, yes. It is rather evenly faded. Although red is known for its share of fading, it is often strong - as the example I posted.
