There are a lot of great auctions coming up in the next few weeks including Alexander, RR and Heritage. The letter in this link is owned by the legendary collector Claude Harkins. In it Ben Franklin rails against the British. I think it might be one of the best Franklin letters in existence, or at least in private hands. It was sold to Harkins by a west coast dealer. The letter is estimated to sell between a quarter and a half MILLION dollars. WoW!
