Bob Dylan's Autograph on a $5 bill / Springsteen Nebraska

I purchased this off ebay recently.

any comments? fake? real?

my gut says real as no one would go to the extent of making doodles etc as that is extra effort... forgeries are just the basic signature and nothing beyond!

Also is Springsteen Nebraska from same seller!

Both are not authentic imo. Bob Dylan is the most difficult autograph to get. He really doesn't signed at all. Do you think he will take the time for a doodle??

I am sorry to say it, but with Dylan that doodle is an even bigger sing of a fake in my opinion as JSeah stated. Forgers will do anything, including doodles and so much more. Dylans signatures typically start at 800 dollars, so a forger putting a doodle on it to add confidence makes 800 dollars worth of sense. I know what you mean about thinking its an odd thing to do, but its a mistake you only make once. I cant comment on the Dylans authenticity, but i doubt its real from the doodle alone. The Springsteen doesnt look authentic in my opinion.
