Bob Geldof autograph

Came across this letter in a lot of other signed stuff I bought recently. It dates from 1977. My concern is the Geldof signature seems too neat. I have tried to find examples from around this time, without success. My logic , flawed or not, is that because it is a letter it is not hurried as perhaps an autograph signed 'on the hoof' might be. Hope someone can help

I have met Bob Geldof one time, 1991, in person, but his signature looks completly different. You can see it in my photos. Nonetheless I think yours could be real.

Thanks, I am fairly confident as the other stuff in the lot were all good, the guy who owned them was obviously a serious collector. Its just with it looking so different from the other examples I have seen I thought I would get clarification
