Started collect Bob Marley records a while ago and have a pretty nice collection of all original records from Jamaica. I would love to get a signed record to frame. I've started to do research and well here I am. I've read basically every Marley thread here. Can anyone give any advice on who to deal with to get a legit autograph? I have no problem spending the $. To me it's more than worth it but I would ( as well as anyone else) want something that is real. If anyone has a person or dealer that they know is legit that would help a lot

Jeff,

I moved your post to Music Autographs. Here are good places to start:

  • SignedSealedDel.com/Roger Epperson: Just to let you know, he is an advertiser and our main modern music authenticator.
  • GottaHaveIt.com
  • RRAuction.com
  • HA.com
  • Christies.com (both US and UK. UK has a rock sale coming up in June I think.)
  • JuliensAuctions.com
  • Any AFTAL dealer (UK...www.aftal.co.uk
  • You should be safe with items authenticated by PSA/DNA, JSA and Roger Epperson (REAL). Verify the certs are legit and the item matches it. Certs do get counterfeited from time to time, but you can verify them easily.
  • Check out the reputation of the dealer and authenticator carefully!
  • I'm sure I'm missing some good people, but this is a start.
GottaHaveIt has GREAT stuff!
I have a bob marley autograph that is authentic willing to sell....

Lets see it......
