I don't think it's good, looks rather slowly drawn. And even if it would be good I wouldn't buy it.
It's rather easily forged, just on a blank paper. I would have to trust the seller 100% to give this a chance.

I agree, you have to trust the seller 100% to buy a sketch. I did that with the in-person collector who got my own sketch:

The sketch is weird in contrast to what he usually does. I thought the signature itself actually looks pretty good.

I actually went ahead and posted it in Eastlink, asking for feedback. Curious to hear what fans think. If I looked at the sketch first, I'd expect a terrible, obvious forgery to accompany it, which isn't the case.

So far two very knowledgeable collectors (one of who is an enormous fan and smart collector who's met Bono many times) are in the same boat as me: Signature looks great, but what's the deal with that sketch?

From one of them:

"Sig looks OK sketch is awful,

One of two things here Bono signed it and guy added this sketch himself or Bono added it while walking,
Definitely worst I've seen"

I'm not an expert at all, I only own 1 Bono sig which was a no-brainer genuine one so I didn't have to study his sig much.
But I still don't really like this sig. It doesn't look very fluent. If you look at the 2 bottoms of the B and the N, it's not in a fluent line which I do see with other examples. I could be wrong though, if you consider to buy this I'd definitely ask Rogers opinion.

Thanks, Bjorn. This is what I love about this site. Dedicated collectors willing to share their knowledge. Desire wants me to buy this but wisdom tells me to find a better example. On this one, wisdom wins. I'll pass and continue my search.
