Boris Karloff collectors! Need help on authenticity of vintage photo.

I recently purchased this signed photo of Boris Karloff at an estate sale. I really thought it was an authentic vintage signed photo. Are there any experts out there that can share with me what they think? It's signed in black ink and dates back to 1949. Thanks!

OK, so without actually handling the still/photo - on this picture I would be happy to say it was genuine.

It doesn't appear to be a restrike - in fact most studio portraits were not re struck...1949 - Karloff was aging they would use this for two years at most...and then produce another portrait.

The autograph looks nice but it is possible that it was his wife who signed it...Karloff had arthritis and found it painful to sign - his wife would do a lot and I am saying this because the Karloff signatures I have seen often are not dated - his wife and secretarials would do this. This does look more like his wife's signing. She did manage a great copy of his sig.
