Had anybody had to file a claim on ebay lately? Since they moved to their own payments (not paypal) how does one effectively get their money back for a fake autograph? Is it still item not as described? Do you explain or just remain vague. I dont want to screw it up, pretty sure I bought a fake.

what did you buy? you should show it to the group first

I did. I bought a Amelia Earhart signed piece and it showed authenticated through JSA, but when I matched the items it was a different signature on the authentication then what was sold. Returned it got my money back after opening a case.

One must be careful with accepting papers at face value. You did very well to get a refund. Good deal.

If you do screw it up with Ebay, you have a second chance with PayPal for a refund.

Ebay are pretty useless if you choose the incorrect option for a refund. Then ignore you if you debate this, they pass you on to PayPal who are much better at giving a refund for a fraudulent item.

Ebay really don't care, and have been like this for many years. They make a lot of money from fraudulent items being sold on their platform.
