Hi there.

I'm looking for a signed copy of brain salad surgery by ELP, can anyone point me in the right direction? I nearly bought one from MMP but glad I looked on this forum first! So it seems there are more fakes than real out there, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes Keith Greg and Carl :)

Great set of autographs, did you have to buy them? Great to see thanks.

An Epperson purchase, since I didn't want to bother them to ask for autographs in person when I saw them. Ya I'm still kicking myself for that mistake haha

I like them in their long hair anyway

Epperson?

Roger Epperson

I have a confession to make....

I used to go crazy about "Pictures At An Exhibition" back in the days of the gatefold LP. I also remember liking the promo flexi 45 of Brain Salad Surgery that came free with a music paper (NME I think).

I even thought about buying a CD of PAAE recently but lost courage and did an abort landing at the last moment.

HI Pug,

I bought the deluxe version of pictures a while back, it has now been remastered etc and sounds exellent as does all of their early albums. I think its sounds as good today as it did then. And they were such young and talented musicians at that time. I never get tired of listening to it, in fact I was watching the film of a different concert to the one on the album only last night (this thread had started me off) enjoying the antics of K Emerson, I'm sure you will enjoy listening again.

It's great to hear that you still listen to ELP David.

Cmon Pug... get with the program haha

3 of the best talented musicians (RnR) ever assembled and left us w/ an incredible library of music to stimulate our minds.

One of the reasons I got more into Buddy Rich is because Carl Palmer met and trained w/ Buddy at 13 yrs old. And you can definitely see the influences of the early Jazz guys including Gene Krupa (which was Carl's first biggest influence).

We need more great musicians like ELP and other prog-rock type bands.

I think I'll put some ELP on right now (TARKUS !!!) WOOOO

Yes cmon Pug!!
