Hi folks.  Anybody have an opinion on this one from "Gotta Have It!" in NY? Looks very beautiful, but to a very high price.

100% real -- but way too expensive.

Just my thought too. Looks like alot of sellers have very wrong thoughts on how much some of the early Bruce-autographs are worth. Of course they are worth more than the newer ones, but $5000 for a vinyl, $3500 for this. It doesnt add up, and they never get to sell them.

I agree... Maybe a signed guitar could demand that much..

They have some really nice items, but I agree.....they are too expensive!

I took another look at this. I still think it looks legit, but some of the information from gottahavit.com doesnt add up:

It says that the artist has signed it with the date  "John D. Welch 5/29/75". That must be wrong, because the drawing is clearly drawn after the picture of Bruce at the "Darkness on the end of town" album, and that album was relased in the beginning of 1978. (Also Bruce had quite  a different apperance in 78 compeard to 75) And additionally Bobby Chirmside was given the job as tour manager in the end of 76, or beginning of 77. In 75-76 Rick Seguso was Springsteens tour manager.

My conclusion is that the drawing must have been drawed the earliest at the end of 77/beginning of 78. And Bruce`s signature must also be from that same period.
Anybody have any comments about this?

As you can se its without a doubt drawn after the picture on the front of the Darkness-album. So signaure and inscriptions must be from 1978 or later.

It is a Real signature and inscription!

I lean in that direction myself, BUT the seller (Gottahavit.com) are certainly wrong in their information on when the drawing is made, and then the autograph are at least 3 years newer than they let us believe.
