Hi David,

I do have some experience with Bruce, and from what i can see their are 2 things that are strange to me. One is the formation of the B in Bruce. It lacks several things i typically see in his signature. The other main issue is the connection between the S and P in Springsteen. Do you know what year this was supposed to have been signed in? That may help to narrow down the possibilities. But i am sure youll get alot of other opinions as there are some great Bruce experts here.

It looks like a fake, with the forger making a combination of his recent signature, and the way he signed 10-15 years ago. Thats typical for forgers, combinations of periods like that.. And I agree with Carl, both the B, and the connection between S and p are quite strange. And besides that, Bruce signing guitars is very rare nowadays. He most often rejects personal requests for signing of guitars, and if you find some real ones, they are often signed for charity or events like that.

Looks a little off and I've heard from many collectors that Bruce does not guitars anymore except for charity and if it's a fan he meets, he always asks "Who should I make this out to?"  Here is a real one he signed during BUSA tour for a radio station charity auction.
