It's probably worth 2 or 3 thousand

It looks authentic to me, but obviously, if it's being sold the buyer will want it authenticated.

I agree Josh and thank you fir staring your opinión. I assume you have one or more Buddy Holly signatures to go by? Also, I'm a bit miffed as to who signed to the lower left corner area where it looks like the words Love The ??? And then drawn a diamond shape and the letter P?? Perhaps another Performer on the same show as Buddy who was at that same restaurant at the time and signed as well? Thank you

Two things. That signature could be ANYONE. It could have been the tour manager, that was writing an item they loved that the restaurant served them. The possibilities are endless. I will say this, though. As annoying an extra, unwanted signature is from a rando....it often helps, because... what person forging would want to add another unknown name, or a personalization, etc.?

I don't own a Buddy Holly. But I was on the verge of buying a handful over the years. I almost bought one from Myron Ross/Heroes & Legends. Glad I didn't, as he traffics in forgeries.

I did help Paul McCartney's guitarist in securing one for Paul, as that's his all-time favorite artist.

Nice! Really appreciate valued opinión on this.  I do know the dealer that you just mentioned and have seen items that he puts out I have never bought any for obvious reasons I will not go further than that
