Can I just say thanks?

I just want to say thanks!

I am a new member on here.  I've only been on for about 3 months.  However, I have learned SO much thanks to the guidance of great individuals on here.  

Today I went into a pawn shop to kill time.  They had an autographed Mickey Mantle picture, card, and name plaque, all framed in one.  I knew at once it was fake.  In fact, it was a horrendous forgery. 

Without the knowledge I have learned on here, I would have haggled over this item, probably purchased it (it was $89), and taken it home, assuming it was real.  But I know better now. 

So....Thanks!  Thanks for all the help in learning about this great hobby!  And thanks for helping me avoid an obvious POS fake!  You all are great!

I’ve been on here over a year and members have helped me purchase Wilt Chamberlain, Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, and others with their expertise and willingness to help. I love this site and my autograph collection and love for autographs has grown tremendously since I joined.
