Any thoughts on either of the attached Carrie Fisher signed index cards?

Thanks!

I think those are secretarial signatures.

Thank you for the quick reply! I wasn't even aware that she used a secretarial signer.

These are indeed secretarial signatures, but Debbie hadn't signed for Carrie in well over a decade, these are the signatures of Carrie's last unknown ghost signer for TTM responses.

These are authentic Fisher signatures.

  This is Debbie's version

This is her secretary from the 90's

This is her secretary for the last years of her life

and a little comparison for ya

Wow, very informative. Thank you! How much would one expect to pay for a legitimate signed index card, if one could be found?

I have seen quite a few really good fakes since she passed, and the majority of what is out there are secretarial.

A few have traded hands among Star Wars collectors for about $250

Yowsa! I think I'll hold off on looking and see if the market eventually settles down. That's too rich for my blood. Thanks again!

Just don't jump at anything that seems too good to be true. There have been an abundance of really good fakes coming out of the UK and Vegas. Some long time collectors have been fooled.

Thank you for the great information Pete and signature study. Best wishes.

Thanks Pete! I believe this Fisher photo matches up to the authentic examples. What would the current market value be on this one? 300. range?

Thanks

The signature looks fine, but it is not a photo, just a color lithograph. According to recent sales, if this gets $150, it would be about right.

It is one of the most common images out there and plenty of actual photographs of this image out there.

It's funny how the value of signed media varies from one field to another. My primary current area of collecting is astronaut autographs, where signed official NASA lithographs generally hold higher value over a signed photo. Here, it appears a photo would hold higher value than a lithograph. Very interesting.

Robert, are you looking to sell that particular lithograph?

When it comes to Star Wars material, there is certainly a premium placed on official photographs, the lithos are also from the licensed company, but because they also offered real photographs, they hold the higher premium.

If NASA had offered both official lithos and official photos, you might see that same variation in pricing.
