This appears to have typical characteristics but there are a few things that concern me.  The "C" in "Charles" and the "p" in "Chaplin" appear to be slightly off.  Some of the pooling also concerns me but not enough to give up on it.  I do not believe that the seller has any reason to believe that it is a forgery.  If it does turn out to be a forgery it is more likely that her husband was fooled when he originally purchased it.  If you are seriously considering purchasing it I would try to get it for a very good price and examine the ink and paper immediately upon receiving it.  If there is nothing initially suspicious about it I would send it out to be authenticated by a professional.  In my opinion, it has enough positive characteristics to take a chance on.  Good luck.  Keep us posted.

It sold for $123.59, but I passed without much documentation.
