Charlie Parker thoughts

Bearing in mind how elusive Parker's sig is, I was wondering how much parker fans thought his sig was worth. I have seen a couple of auctions when the starting price for his sig was about $3500 without premium!

Hi Michelle. Obviously it massively depends on the piece, but $3500 seems a little excessive. Heritage auctions has a piece that can be purchased now for $2000, and a couple of years ago I foolishly didn't bid higher on a 78 signed by Parker, Miles and a couple of others which went for a little over $1000. I would estimate a nice cut at around $500 if you are willing to wait and search.
