Clapton experts needed..Real or not? On the fence so any imput is appreciated

I can see why you are on the fence with this one. It's not the most attractive and doesn't give a lot to go on, but my, very much non-expert, opinion would be that this has a chance of being right. If you are seriously considering purchasing it though I would pay Roger Epperson for his quick opinion.

Thx for the input...

I studied Clapton quite a bit and I originally thought this was authentic as his can have less than rounded E at the start so I picked it up .. I can dissect signatures very well but think other opinions here are important..this may have been just rushed a bit..I didn't pay a lot for it so I took a chance on it but I may check with Roger...A friend of his looked at it and wasn't quite sure either..looks like maybe (if real) a early 90s signature

I agree about the 'E', that is the bit I like, and I've seen very similar 'Clapton' in rushed IP signatures, it's the rest of the 'Eric' that bothers me. If it is real it is definitely a 90s signature, though I would lean more towards mid, or possibly late, 90s. I think it's definitely worth the $15 to get Rogers opinion on it.

The first part of the signature just looks slowly signed to me.

If your asking me and you own it I would do his quick opinion. I think its 15 but I haven't used it in quite a while. If he thinks its real that gives it some weight for resale. His autograph is also not a cheap one. I really don't think its real but am no "expert" though I like to think I gotta pretty good track record in my mind. I think Roger really should post here occasionally considering all the free advertising he gets here. Good luck!
