I called UDA to verify this hologram number since it did not show up in their online database. A UDA rep told me that the number does not exist in their records, and thus he could not verify it.

I do know that the seller previously sold this ball outside of eBay, direct through PayPal since I had been interested in it and discussed it with the seller. To my surprise, the ball is back up on eBay. So I'm guessing the buyer found out it could not be verified and therefore returned it.

So do you think this is a fake hologram and matching fake COA? If so, they are really good fakes. There are pics below.

Here is a link to the sale:

This is odd. Is the ball rubber? I don't pay attention to much of the UDA Jordan items but most of the time doesn't he usually sign quality leather balls. From my limited knowledge the signature looks like it could be good.

Those were my thoughts exactly. I asked the seller if the ball was rubber. His response was that it doesn't feel like rubber, but he wasn't sure what it was made of. He said he picked up two of these balls. From where, I don't know. It's entirely possible that he got taken and unknowingly bought knock-offs. But I agree. I think the sigs are decent fakes if they are indeed fakes. They're good enough that if they were in the database, I wouldn't think twice, obviously. And those holograms and COA are very convincing.
Fwiw, I am fairly certain that kids/people who attended Jordan's "flight school" camp were allowed to bring one item to be signed as included with the package, and UDA stickered them. Occasionally you will see an odd stickered uda item that someone brought, like a used shoe, etc. that normally upperdeck wouldn't offer. If I were a kid and was bringing an item with me, I don't know if I would have thought to bring an expensive leather ball at the time, and may have brought a ball like this one (that is likely synthetic/rubber).
At first I thought it looked kind of cool and really grabbed my attention. However, I don't think I would be happy with a rubber ball anyway. I did, however, ask the UDA rep if the flight school signed items were included in their database that he checked. He said, yes, they are in their database. So it should be there. Unfortunately, it's not.
