Yes from me, 1973. Very nice. Many traits old and new (to come - That "Bo" connection is already there).

Here are some signatures and handwriting from 1973.

Thanks for the reply Eric. The item was actually signed May 6, 1972.

As my area of interest is really 1975/76-1979 I am am surprised I was that close!  :) It is a lovely item. Here is my 1976 - April 26th Stockholm:

Nice.

Here's a couple more. Thoughts on these?

The Lets Dance is a poor forgery. The 1980 Elephant Man by Ron Scherl has value just a a photograph if it is stamped - the signature is perfectly genuine and extremely rare. This 1980 signing style was one thought a secretarial, but I a and others proved otherwise.

Yes, I concur about the Let's Dance. I always had doubts about that one.

Do you mind if I keep putting up Bowie signatures? I'm really trying to come to grips with what's real and what's not in my collection.

Here's one I think is a fake. What do you think?

Perhaps. Not a fan. Not one I'd sell or buy. No date, condensed,

This is good

Hi Mark :)

It is rushed IMO. Not something I would sell. I try to provide bang-on obviously genuine Bowie's. It my be to you, and maybe to me, but most want the proper paraph (although its lack certainty has precedent as does the double lopped "o") - but not that curl, (this is early 90's?) and most want a date and some even want one of both apostrophes. I try to provide the best examples I can. To me this should be discounted to a degree - YMMV?
