Hi, This is my first time on this site.  Just checking to see if this David Gilmour autograph is authentic. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks, John

Hi John, welcome. Looks a bit off to me and he is a hard to get autograph. If your looking to buy one be very careful and the sellers reputation will be very important.

Hey Ian, Thanks for the reply and the welcome. It was purchased off of e-bay. The seller has a 100% rating(I know this may not mean much), and he sells a lot of sports autographs. Huge fan and have always wanted his autograph to display. Thanks for your information.

Hi,

It looks a bit odd, especially last name form, and is signed way on the right for a Gilmour. What was it supposed to have been signed?

Seek other opinions and of course the source is important.

Here is mine 2006 On an Island tour:

Hey Eric, Appreciate the reply. It was purchased off e-bay from a seller who sells mainly sports autographs. He has a 100% rating(I know this may not mean much). Huge fan and have always wanted his autograph for display. Thanks for posting yours for comparison.

Hello again John,

I dunno, $33 in a private auction - where were the other bidders?

See this thread here:

Best wishes,

Oh well, to good to be true. Thanks for the link. I will try to send back. Thanks Eric

Gilmour almost always crosses his D and G. This is a common PF forgery.

Hey Jared, Thanks for the info. Appreciate it.

Definitly not real
