I can't speak for the item itself, but keep in mind that anyone who pays their dues can be a member of the UACC.
Also, for what it's worth, all the U2 items he's selling are poorly done forgeries. Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, AC/DC and several others I could safely call forgeries as they are so badly done. With maybe an exception or two, every autograph this guy is selling has a very distinct vibe of being a forgery.
I agree with you about other items from the seller - some of these really Looking bad.
I would steer clear on that basis alone. It's one thing to have a bad item or two, but this guy's inventory is trash across the board. He needs to be taken off Ebay if anything.
I also did notice that he did in fact note he was a member of the UAAC. Which is . . . what? United Arab Aluminium Co? Utah Animal Adoption Center?
by the way - I always do get nervous if I read this text:
"We offer a certificate of authenticity (C.O.A.) with a lifetime guarantee. We invite you to compare this signature with others of the artist in question, you will come to the same conclusion as many others before you :
THIS IS THE REAL THING ..."
Assuming he is not the forger of some of these items, my guess is that he buys his stuff on the cheap from bad sources out of utter incompetence in an attempt to make a big profit.
The seller just sell pure garbage autographs.
