Dirk signs TTM pretty quickly, and he does sign jerseys so if you are looking to purchase one, I''d recommend just mailing him one. Here is mine to compare:

Thank you for you interest. I compared the 2 and the signature seems pretty close. I noticed he uses to sign in two different ways, sometimes shorter and somtimes longer way.

Just a curiosity about what you recommanded. How do you mail to him a jersey if you want to get a signature from him? Is it really possible?

Thanks again

They do look close. Also the "41" is spot on, which a lot of times forgers mess up with inscriptions.

It is 100% possible, and his return rate is 100%. One of the best TTM (Through The Mail) signers in the NBA. Usually takes about 1 month to get back. Here is the address:

Dirk Nowitzki
c/o Dallas Mavericks
2500 Victory Avenue
Dallas, TX 75219

You will need two packages, 1 to get there, and then a "return" one inside with postage pre-paid on it so that he can sign it, put it in your return package and get it back in the mail to you! His turnaround time is about 1 month.

Thanks you very much for your courtesy and time. I didn't know about this so i think for sure i will try to do it.

And about the signature, i thought the same and after same comparison work with other Dirk signatures, i came at the conclusion that this one is most likely authentic. I just wanted to hear opinions from other fans or person with more experience on forgeries or authentic signatures.

Thanks again Ryan!

A lot of people stay away from "GAI" or "Global Authentication" COAs, I do think the sig compares but have not studied Dirk enough to be certain. If I were to purchase, I would probably pass on that and look for one certed by PSA/DNA, or JSA.

But, I would send him TTM before I even thought about buying one online, as he is such a great signer. Good luck, post pix when you get it back!

I will for sure!

About GAI or GA, i heard some people don't trust them so much. I read about troubles they had in past caused by financial problems, but at the moment they look good. From what i know they are considered between the top authentication companies, also if probably less strong compared to PSA/DNA and JSA that rules the market of the authentications.  Coming back on GAI anyway, i heard that if you go by them, to look for Steve Sipe COA's that is considered very reliable authenticator and lately also Brandon Mysinger in the races field.

Ricardo,

Read the discussions on this site and and ask known reputable dealers and auction houses and you'll find out that a Global Authentic COA signed by Steve Sipe is widely considered a sign of forgery, not authenticity.

Oh wow. I was going after what i read in numerous forum, blogs and websites around the network. I followed a bit the story that was behind GAI. And it is sad. The authentication world will never be able to give you 100% security about authenticity, but would have to reduce to the minimum the risk to meet forgeries and fake signatures and be pretty sure about the item between your hands. Unluckily people find also a way for cheating. I was reading few days ago about how they had to change the stickers, both GA, JSA and PSA after it happened several episodes of items with fake COA's. Anyway, i just read that about Steve Sipe and it is my not role to accuse or defend anyone. Thank you for your interest anyway, it is always nice to hear opinions and thought from persons involved in this field.

LOL, yeah right.

Ricardo,

Google Steve Cyrkin and Starbrite and just look at all the crazy stuff that shows up. Taking advice from a guy like this is just a bad idea. Cape Crusader he is NOT!!

Good day,

Steve

speaking as someone new to the website- I have to say this is a major turn off. very...."high school" level trash talking. I can understand you may be just trying to warn people about someone you believe to be untruthful-and he might be-i don't know him- but you probably just shouldve messaged that guy you were responding to privately...it doesn't seem very adult to defame people outloud like that. at least in the way you wrote it out. I looked him up on google and I have to admit- it doesnt look good at all. but who can be sure of anything online. and who spent their own money to pull steve cs criminal record if its even real? and what does that have to do with the guy selling autographs.

Luke,

I am tired of this loser throwing me under the bus anytime he can on his little playground called this site. Instead of his blanket approach to just slam us anytime he can you would think that he could back off from time to time but that is just not the case. Anyone who even mentions our name is slammed and told that they must use other services or be shunned on this land mine of a site.

If you were the target of this trash talking Luke I am sure you would most likely understand where I am coming from on this. He calls others out for forgeries yet sold some of the worst examples of entertainment (at least what was shown in his advertisements) autographs we have seen. You will see that if you do not conform to what "they" want you to believe you also will feel their wrath on here.

Good luck to you if that is the stance you are going to take on here Luke.

Steve
