DOES IT BOTHER ANYONE ELSE WHEN..................

Does it bother anyone else when someone posts the same persons Autograph for 8-10 months, in the Is This Real forum. Then someone else post 4 or 5 of the same person sig and the first person chimes in, "the 1st one is Real, the 2nd is a Secretarial and the rest are Fakes". Then they go back to listing the same persons signature for Opinions again. If you can't tell, if the signatures that you are posting are real or not, how can you give opinions on other peoples????? Maybe it's just me??

Not sure if this answers your point. But, there are different reasons why someone may post in the Is It Real forum. For instance, when I am tackling a new signature I haven't chased before there is a learning curve and it takes time to learn a signer's patterns over a period of time. I may know an authentic signature in a particular era and not in another.

And now if someone wants to post in the buy, sell, trade forum and do not have a TPA the new rule requires to get opinions here before listing. I assume even the best expert must follow this same procedure.

BTW, I hope quick opinions do not count as a substitute for a paper COA.

As long as someone whose intentions are honorable, I don't see an issue with it. Our opinions are to help people and should not be considered a professional opinion.
