I bought this not long ago and I wanted to know if it is authentic.

This is not authentic in my opinion.

How so, what are your reasons?...ummm ok that was vague?

First off, look at the Brian Johnson autograph. It is EXTREMELY neat and much too flamboyant to be his. Atattached is a known example in my library authenticated by JSA.

For Angus to do a sketch is very rare, and he is pretty consistent with it. I have never seen one quite like that.

The same pen pressure throughout the whole piece is also a big turn off. It appears to be signed by the same exact hand.

This appears to be a professional forgery done by a group of ebayers who are pumping out KISS, ACDC, GNR, Aerosmith, and many other rock forgeries.

Your theory might hold water but unfortunately the Brian is very close to a known lithograph signature. The Brian signature you included looks fake. Malcolms stuff tight fastly signed signature is dead on and this was signed at a video shoot for Safe in New York City and Angus added the drawing....it stands up to any out there. The fact that the elusive Phil Rudd signed loose but dead on to how he signs usually on the fly. Cliff is same as any I have seen.

The Brian is dead on.

I do not believe the Brian is dead on at all. Again, it looks much too flamboyant. The signatures are meant to fool the eye as they are done professionally most likely. These are almost identical to ones I have seen in that forging ring.

You can ask Roger Epperson for an opinion for $15 as his word is more reputable than anybody's here in terms of music, or wait for more opinions.

I am just a collector, but I would not want this in my collection. It looks too suspicious.

Thanks,

Kevin

Where did you buy it? I believe I have seen this before.

I asked why you think this is a fake. You said it is not authentic how so?

It was bought from the dealer at everything collectible in England ....Nigel Williams

That seller has 8 awful looking U2 forgeries, so I would gather that they aren't exactly all together when it comes to autographs.

Yikes they have an absolutely horrific Aerosmith signed pink guitar for sale. Terrible forgeries. That Steven Tyler is laughable.

I live very close to all of them and have gotten them to sign many times. That guitar is no where close. They also have another ACDC signed guitar...again that is not authentic.
