You have done your research and have located a great deal on that autograph you've wanted for quite some time now.
Now you have decided to consult an authenticator or autograph website for a "quick opinion"
DON'T BE A SUCKER!
Don't just hand over your great deal to the authenticators.
*(use common sense, they will take it from you)*
PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO DISGUISE WHERE YOUR FIND IS LOCATED!
1. Crop the signature, rename the .jpg file before sending it to the authenticator.
2.Never send a direct link of the item to an authenticator, you may as well kiss it goodbye if it is a genuine bargain!
3.Learn about "Tineye", a reverse image search engine authenticators can use to sneak your bargain away from you.
Authenticators are being PAID by inexperienced collectors to check out the bargain they've sweated and searched for.
Please remember there is NO licensing for these authenticators!
There are NO educational requirements!
There are NO existing standards for these individuals and companies.
There is NO code of ethics.
DON'T BE THEIR NEXT SUCKER!

Greg,
Why are you accusing authenticators of "stealing" good deals people have found?
Your "Don't be a sucker" warning isn't based on anything you have knowledge of? Just what possibly could happen if they were unethical?
So if I said,
"Thinking of calling Greg's Plumbing and Heating?
DON'T BE A SUCKER!"
Without proof of any kind--even accusations--that you were doing anything unethical...you would still love that phrase?
