Eagles Signed Hell Freezes Over CD - Opinions Please

I believe these are authentic Eagles autographs, however I would appreciate opinions from other members familiar with Eagles signatures.

Thanks in advance.

To me,, this looks like a very, very, very good forgery. And Don Henley hasn't signed autographs in at least a decade, unless it's for charity.

Hi Josh, I agree with you on the rarity of these autographs.  But I do believe they are very real indeed. I have been collecting Eagles autographs for about 20 years now ... and like many of us... it took getting burned several times over before finally getting it right. Today, I do have several authenticated Don Henley signed Eagles items in my collection. All of them are very rare. I know that Don Henley is a very, very tough autograph and that in-person he almost never signs... I do believe that its due in part to the corporate agreements the Eagles have...  For example, in recent years the Eagles have performed private corporate concerts which they get paid millions for... they also have meet and greets with their corporate sponsors at these events.

Here is a signed Eagles Hotel California CD item I own. It was signed by Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit  at a private concert meet and greet event in 2013  It has also been authenticated by Roger Epperson.

I believe the Hell Freezes Over CD is indeed authentically signed by the Eagles and was likely signed during the Hell Freezes Over release period.

Henley doesn' have an agreement  or clause were he can' sign for people. The Reason Is 2 part he' An a**hole and hates dealers that's it same with glen when he was alive. They were just very tough. I have gotten a few completes guitars and posters even photo with Henley and he hates pics.

CLASSIC ROCK, do you have any information regarding the origin of this HFO item? Though I agree with Josh on the scarcity of such a fully signed item, AND the Don Felder signature I am not fully convinced is his, the other 4 signatures and pretty dang spot on.

Is there a back story that supports this signed CD?

they all look pretty good to me.  hell of a forgery if it is one.

Thanks Terrier. I totally agree.

I think it's good.  I very rarely ever voice an opinion about authenticity on AML.  But I'd buy this, if Roger Epperson approved it.  Josh may be right.  It may be a master forgery.  And Stephen is right to ask the background.  The Felder appears to be at a slightly greater slant than normal, but that's nothing.  I'd find it miraculous if one person was able to forge each of these on the same item without messing anything up.  And if you're going to do that, why go to the trouble for a CD book, when you could apply these to a Hotel California or other album and make a great deal more money?  In fact, if you don't buy it, for the right price, I will :).

Thank you Christopher. Very well said... and I totally agree. Thanks for the offer to purchase it... but it’s staying in my collection at this time.

I agree fully with Christopher that Eppersons opinion brings it even closer to fully authentic. Probably seals the deal! Though I don't purchase, whoever does, would own a very rare post 1994 fully signed Eagles piece.  HFO and thereafter are so far and few and ever farther and few that come to market and even more farther and more few that is not inscribed by any of these guys.  One of a kind: Perhaps so............

This is as far as I got on my HFO items............

Thanks Stephen. Very nice autographs.

I paid for Roger Epperson's expert opinion on this CD

His response is "This Looks Fine"

This looks very close to a signed lot that was on the bay that had multiple signed Eagles items of which some seemed very off.
