Hello everyone,
I try to keep my mouth shut about authenticity these days. But guys like this really get to me. The ebay seller goes by king.benny and the items resemble what you would find at NE Autographs. Granted this is only my personal opinion, and am not accusing anyone of forging in any way, but these items dont look good at all. They really dont even come close to known examples. What caught my eyes was an Avenged Sevenfold signed poster that had bids already up to 115 dollars. Yet i recognized it pretty instantly, as i am fairly familiar with their signatures, as a very questionable item. It is my opinion that it isnt even close. So i opened up the sellers history and their are many many such posters all signed by the biggest acts in music. Ranging from Dylan, to metallica, to rush, to U2, you name it, they have it. And all of the posters start for just a few dollars. And a great deal of them have bids! Yet in each case that i looked at, the signatures didnt even look close to me.
Could i be wrong and these be legit? Please see what you think by checking the sellers items out or looking at the pics below. I would be very surprised if any are authentic. Maybe if enough people comment ebay will respond with action, as every time i report an item nothing happens. What do you think of this bob dylan poster, rush poster, and U2 poster, as a start?

If Bob Dylan signed that then I give up collecting. U2 - Fake, Clapton is a fake and I don't know the others but it appears you are right, just selling fakes.

All listed posters are gone. For sure the U2 and the Kiss is fake. I'm not good enough to comment on the others.
Thanks for the opinions guys. Unfortunately, i believe all these posters and many more like them sold!!
I noticed this seller with only a short time left on the auctions, roughly around a day, and most all the posters had bids. And some were well into the hundreds of dollars. I am sure the seller will list more equally as fake posters, but until then, maybe someone who bought the posters will find their way here and realize they need to get a refund.
Its a shame that the seller doesnt feel bad about doing this to others.
