Beware this seller of fakes and forgeries. Had a somewhat convincing graph that made me look twice and then I saw his slew of monstrosities forged on blank sheets of paper. And surprise, surprise, he has everyone!

Yeah, this is about as obvious as fraud gets. These are horrible fakes. I have a very good friend whom I deal with online on a regular basis that lives very close to this scumbag (Cole Harbour) who just happens to be an RCMP officer. I'm going to forward the link to this seller's ebay page. This is one cop who knows the hobby and wouldn't mind pursuing this sort of thing. Thanks for bringing this to our attention here on AML.

Nice.

Yeah, Ive caught myself looking at this guys wares (different items Ive been shopping for) at least twice, and I have a decent eye for trash.

You’ve got to be kidding me. Does it get more ridiculous than this?

Jimi Hendrix double signed DEBUT LP.. fair shape ..(see scans and description).. signed in FELT TIP PEN.. Minor fading but held up excellent for the age since it was stored in a box of 100+ other albums so was not out to fade from what I can tell..

I found this album in a collection of albums I bought that were owned by Anne Murray's Violin player.. The auctioneer from the auction I still buy from told me his friend had over 1000 albums that were owned by his dad who played with Anne Murray and gave me his number.. No one had looked through them, inc his son who was selling them, before I did.. They were stored in at least 12 boxes and I don't think they had been opened in MANY years given they were dusty..There was somewhere between 1200-1500 albums I went through. Just to go through that my much vinyl from the 60s through the 80s was a blast and I bought 150 .. When I got home I was going through them and when I turned it over I was blown away when I saw this was signed twice on the back by Jimi Hendrix.. I have seen others where he has signed in the corner like on this one..

I am not sure if his dad that was in the band had passed away or maybe was in a home at that point, and I didn't feel it was my place to ask so I didn't.. I am sure he would not have remembered getting that almost 50 years later as there were others signed in the boxes as well..

It makes sense he would have this as Anne Murray already had a # 1 hit in the US by 1970 and one of the most popular female artists in the world then and would have been touring across North America and probably ran into him as they were both in the top tier music circles at the time.. I don't think this amazing rare album has seen the light of day in many many years before I came across it by accident. It was the best accident I have had LOL.. It appears that he was careful not to sign in the title or writing and tried to sign in a straight line first and ran out of room and then signed the second time in the other corner on an angle to give himself more room. I am sure he wanted to sign it outside of the writing on the back, and would have taken the time to sign it a second time with his full name instead of the shortened abbreviated last name as in the first signature since he was signing for a fellow touring musician.. THIS MAY POSSIBLY BE THE ONLY DOUBLE SIGNED HENDRIX LP, and His DEBUT AS WELL, IN the WORLD.. and It could be yours!!

Absolutely laughable, isn't it? The cops will get him. That's a small community for someone to be doing this like that. The police will get him eventually. As for ebay, I doubt he will ever be banned. I've reported his items, and I'm sure others have as well, but ebay doesn't seem to care.

I can't believe the story about Anne Murray though. If anyone believes that story, I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I want to sell them, lol.

I don’t even bother reporting items to eBay anymore. I wonder how long it took this guy to come up with this story, and what he thought when he was finished. Maybe it was “Heck yeah! I nailed it!” The supporting commentary is amazing…

I am sure he wanted to sign it outside of the writing on the back, and would have taken the time to sign it a second time with his full name instead of the shortened abbreviated last name as in the first signature since he was signing for a fellow touring musician..

I still report when I have the time. But I understand why people don't do it. Ebay does nothing about it.

Also, that commentary. HAHA. The only thing funnier is imagining some buyer reading that and thinking "Wow, this seems totally legit, I'm definitely buying this.". I mean how stupid can people really be? How does this work?
