Eddie can be tough. Personally I wouldn't buy one without an inscription to add more clues. That said, the angles match up to known signatures. It has good aspects but I would drive myself crazy researching this one. I bet the TPAs would pass it if that means anything to you.. Eddie has different styles as you probably know. The check Steve P. gave as an example is a good start and you can use it to an extent but doesn't match this variation. Ill post 2 that I own below. The ticket stub was an auction purchase last year. I plan to have it authenticated but haven't yet. Debating on encapsulating or not.. the other was purchased from someone who acquired this in person in front of a large crowd and had many different pictures taken while Eddie was signing it. Theres no doubt.
It was signed July 6, 2004 at Freedom Hall in Louisville during a pre-show event. I have a picture of Eddie holding this item while signing it. Theres no doubt. Its a prosthetic. The original owner is a Vet who lost his leg and he wore it to the show. Took it off and hobbled around on 1 leg to have the whole band sign it. Im hesitant to post more pictures out of respect for the original owner. Very unique item. I had plans of turning the peice into a tornado as a "Twister" tribute but thats a hell of a lot of work. Maybe one day
