Thinking of purchasing a Elton John and Ray Cooper signed program. Do you think the signatures are real or fake. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't think the autographs are real.

The price often tells a lot about the likelihood something isn't real. How much are they asking?

Thanks for the feedback. They are asking $75

That's a fraction of what it would be worth. Glad you asked before you bought.

Yes the Ray Cooper looks nothing like known real examples but the Elton is a real good attempt and I would have said real in the first place. Also price is often a good hint it isn't always a dead give away. I have/had two Elton John signed vinyl cover one I bought for 45$ and the other for 75$ both real.

Here's an Elton John I think is real in that style:

This is 100% genuine. These are signatures of Elton and Bernie Taupin, not Ray Cooper!

I just looked at Elton and I disagree.

Richard is right I was curios about the "Cooper" autograph and why someone would fake it total wrong and came across Taupin as well.

For 75$ it is a steal

Yes, if it's OK it is a super good deal.

Richard maybe you're right. I only looked at Elton. There have been some very good forgeries in that style and maybe I was too wary.

I know Steve, but this is genuine my friend. All the recent forgeries never get the E to the L in Elton and ‘ohn’ of John. This is a great signature and item.

Thank you for the feedback. Really appreciate it.
