Hello Cindy...

I love that suit Elvis is wearing. It has very special memories for me. The one and only time I saw Elvis in person...this is the suit he was performing in. It's referred  to as the Blue Phoenix suit.

Now your Elvis autograph. I am going to be the first of a few I think that is going to tell you that I don't  believe Elvis signed that. I just can't see anyway that the autograph is genuine.

Are you the original owner Cindy?? Did it come from a family member?? Perhaps you can help the members here with information  as to the background and history of your item. It's circa 1975 so let's start there. Any info you can provide will help get us all get to where we want to go...although I don't think you're going to like the final destination...

The photographer which also stamped the back of the picture photographed Elvis during these years and Elvis signed it for him. I did have a COA which i lost in a house fire but luckily saved the picture.

know without a doubt it is signed by him

Oh yes Cindy... I see Mr. Sean Shaver has taken the photo.  I was in Las Vegas the year after Elvis passed (1978) and Sean was there. I didn't have a chance to speak with him but I do know he followed Elvis around for about 10 years, 1967 to 1977 right up until his death. Sean has published a number of picture books on Elvis and when you take an estimated 85 thousand pictures, you should be able to publish some pretty nice picture books!! And he did!!

Sean had a business partner by the name of Hal Noland. Together they made quite a bit of money selling photos and books and autographs to Elvis fans worldwide. The photos and books were usually first class. The trouble was with the autographs. They were forged I'm sorry to say and so is yours. I know of one person who purchased an Elvis autograph from Sean Shaver (there are many more)  and today he knows the truth. And now it pains me to say it but you do as well.

Cindy you certainly don't have to believe anything  I tell you. You have come here to look for help, opinions, and guidance. Let's just say you want the truth. And the truth is your autograph is not real. There will be a number of other members who will contribute  to your thread who will give you their opinion as well. Please pay close attention to the guidance they are offering you...the guidance you've asked for.

Well I have to go by my original COA and I am open to all opinions

heres a similar

like i said open to hear everything

The second image you have posted is very well known to Elvis collectors.

It has been reproduced many times by Elvis Presley Enterprises and the Elvis estate. It's a reproduction of a genuine Elvis signature. And while you may well have had a C.O.A. at one time with your item and I'm so sorry to hear that you had to endure a house fire, the truth is the C.O.A. was a fake as well.

You aren't the first person on the planet Cindy to be fooled like this. In fact if you asked around the hundreds of members on this board you'd be surprised how many of us have at one time purchased bogus autographs. Not on purpose mind you, but we can all be fooled. And that list would include me!!

So turn your effort here into a learning experience over the next few days, please listen to what other posters tell you. You are amongst friends here. There are hundreds and hundreds  of "Cindys" out there. Only the names change....the story remains the same over and over again. Lots of folks have  done and said the same things you are now saying. And that's the truth!

Be well...

Hi Cindy,

I hate to say it, but I agree with Don. The autograph is clearly not genuine genuine in my opinion. I wish I had better news.

its all ok

had it for years in the closet lol

absolute forgery. no doubt.

Well said Don.

Sorry to say but the autograph is not genuine.  I wish I could say it was, because I really like the photo it was signed on.  If real that would be a great piece.

Sorry again

Mark
