Interesting information from you. But checks are documents, like contracts or official papers drivers license and so on. Until now I thought and hard believe that these autographs are 100 percent always real. And the really high prices by auctions did show it. Not so easy with the signed checks.

Do you believe Elvis father Vernon signed some checks for him Karsten & signed his son's name for him?

Actually not. Because the handwriting of Elvis signing changes every year as you can see through the years. Vernon‘s handwriting never changes so hard over the years. My fathers handwriting -he is 81- is likely more the same over 40-50 years. The same with Vernon I think.

I spent quite a bit of time looking at other examples of vernon's signature, and doing comparisons.  I now believe that Vernon did NOT sign these.  Interesting subject.

Odds MUST be higher for these compared to virtually anything else out there in that price range.. After these all you have are contracts that can run into the tens of thousands

For me not only Vernon signed by him... The signature of Presley is easy to fake... By a secretatial, Vernon, Menphis Mafia (friends) or colonel parker.The true problem that the signature of Elvis is never and never the same. And i know that the second name of Vernon is Elvis... It's very hard find an Elvis signature by him... Maybe the first photo signed by you and his first band... 1955/56... The documents for me, know Elvis life, were signed many time by other person.
