Honest opinion?

It's a  slowly written forgery of his 1960/1970 style. The giveaways are the E and the whole of Clapton. The other Clapton autograph in another post you raised, is genuine.

Was in the last RR auction... For me is real but i don't like too much this kind of signature

I hear ya, it certainly doesnt look rushed.  Epperson approved it though so who knows

Close for my Crem my friend.... But you have this signature?

Becket just got back to me and told me it looks good too.  I know what you mean though, I'm just telling myself that he spent more than half a second signing it.  Maybe it was for a cute groupie or something

I know, you can actually kind of read it lol.

for me is a fast signature... The T in Clapton is not complete... And also the O in Clapton is not closed...

Let me explain why I believe it is not genuine.

The E in Eric is very unusual, the dot on the i is much longer than any I have seen.

If he rushes the autograph there is normally a connection line between the dot of the i and the C. The way the L leans into the C is not normal, the A in Clapton looks suspiciously slow and laboured and the final giveaway to me is the way the N finishes. I have NEVER seen the N end like this, it normally hooks back to cross the T when he does a full signature which he has not done for some years.

I have collected about 12 in persons from Eric since 1983. He is a former art student and his hand writing is impeccable, unlike this autograph.

Only my view of course...

Why a forger for you not completed the T??? For me the autograph is real but strange ... But signed by Eric Clalton.

This is a vintage in-person signature from my collection for comparison.

And that Richard, is perfect...
