ERIC CLAPTON DID HE SIGN THIS OR NOT?

Can anyone help me to validate that this signature on my guitar is that of Eric Clapton. The guitar was purchased 2002 already signed. All comments are appreciated!

Steve, as I recall, probably $2500.-$3000.00 for I think 5 items, I hate to look again. I guess at that time, 10 yrs ago, I had too much money and trusted everyone, made impulse buys, not even taking into consideration that they may be forged. The hard part is I have shown all my stuff to my friends, and the whole time not knowing....
