What is the purpose of this thread?

They indeed look weird. Your pictures aren’t a proof they are real.

I wouldn’t buy these. But you know yourself they are real and I suppose you will never sell them. I at least would never sell them if I would have gotten these IP.

So your question is useless.

+1

you are right

"They indeed look weird."

Does "looks weird" mean "doesn't look real" though?

There's a lot more to rendering a good opinion on authenticity than looking at the signatures in question and deciding if they're styled like good signatures.

People do weird things with their signatures based on the situation. But there's almost always common traits to the pen strokes that isn't seen in fakes.

I've noticed a lot of times on this site, people offer opinions to try to be helpful, but they base their opinion on the overall look of the signature, not the individual traits that make it up.

It's possible to have a signature that "looks weird", but is filled with positive tells, just as it's possible to have a signature that looks perfect, but is all wrong at the same time.

So, again, I'll ask: does "looks weird" mean "has no positive traits" or does it mean "is styled differently"? Basing an authenticity opinion on one of those things is worthless.

I think any opinion is based on the known. I, for one, never take one opinion as the end all be all. But if multiple people opine that sigs Im looking to buy dont “look right” then I will wait for a better opportunity to buy something that most people would agree is authentic.

BUT, if its a great deal, then I need to rely a little more upon my gut and my tolerance for risk.

You see, There’s a bit of personal responsibility involved. This forum is here to help, but if at the end of the day youre making decisions soley based off others people’s opinions - right or wrong - maybe you should collect leaves instead :)

I guess we all have our own reasons why we ask about authenticity. I'm just thinking out loud here but if I just scored a nice set of autographs why would I even think to ask about authenticity? I would be so happy I would just want to share my experience.

Well, yes, that.

It is an underhanded inquiry at best.
