Hi:

Can someone help authenticate the signature of Nick Pietrosante, Detroit Lions Hall of Famer?

I have five signatures, four on card, one on a sheet of paper.  There seems to be differences in them.

I have attached three of them, scanned in at 600dpi.  If that is too strong, I will try at a lower resolution.

Thanks

Dave

Well, don't know what to do now, my scan will not go lower than 300dpi

Joe, the 300 dpi ones are perfect...and you saved them in what looks like medium-high quality JPGs to save file size, but they still look great. I think you did a fantastic job.

Just to let you know, Joe, you can click the second button from the left on the editing bar...that's a picture upload button. You can upload the image through that and display it in the discussion instead of just the link to the image.

Hi Steve:

Thanks for your kind advise.

First time I ever decided to ask for help here.

Joe Pietrosante was a kid I knew growing up.  Who is now looking for his autograph 60 years later.  Could have asked him back in the 50's, and got it for free.

Over the past few years, I have purchased these five autographs, and now notice what I think are differences in them; that maybe some are not authentic.

Since those really did post, I will now ad the other two:

Thanks

Dave

Hi Steve:

Has been  a few days, guess no-one can help!

Thanks anyway.

Post a comment on Richard Simon's profile with a link to this discussion, asking if he can help. If he can't he probably can tell you who to ask.

Steve

HI Steve:

Thanks for the info.

Finally figured how to find Richard Simon's Profile (is there an easier way than to scroll thru the 162 pages of members?  Guess I'm not the sharpest tack in the box.

Could not find a way to post a comment.  So, went the "Friend" route.

Hope that works.

Again,

Thanks,

Hi Joe,

Sorry, yes. There's a search box above the listings on the member page, right below "All Members".
