Just wondering if this TLS from the first year of his presidency is secretarial? Although not obvious, I haven't been able to find a secretarial even close to it. What has me bothered is the break between the "OO" in Roosevelt, as well as the "e" on either side of the "v" are written more like an "r", rather than the usual either formed "e" or "i" looking letter. Also the middle initial "D" looks a bit messier than usual. Hope all this makes sense to someone who follows his signature. Thanks!

Hey, I'm no expert, but I don't see a problem with your FDR signature.  I've been collecting presidential signatures about 6 years.  I know FDR used many secretaries through the years to sign his name, and some secretarial signatures from 1930s look similar to his.  For comparison, here's a FDR signature from a 1935 TLS that I purchased from RR Auction.  Tim

Thanks Tim! I can definitely see the similarities. The space between the "OO" I can chalk up to a ink-skip. The rest including the 'Franklin' looks spot on. The only thing I'm still having trouble with are 'r' looking letters on either side of the 'v' in 'Roosevelt'....as of yet I have not been able to find another example like that? If I could find at least one other proven example, I'd be ok with it ;)
