Just curiosity. Yes, Perry issued a COA for it. I think it's real. The problem is I bought it from a seller that sells a lot of fakes, so I'm trying to understand if it may be a work of a master forger that can fool the biggest experts in the world.
Only 1 person in this entire thread thought it looked OK at first glance? There is no upside to buying from this type of source. Your post indicates doubt now with George since you returned and were refunded for the" Ringo" (be curious for what reason). Always a lingering cloud of doubt with this eBay source. Was it the paperwork? Why did you buy this?
I simply asked for beatleworld's opinion and got it. I bought it because it looked good and real to me. I still think it's good. I just want to know what other collectors think of it. That's all.
"...but it may be the work of a master forger..." - This will remain.
"...fool the greatest experts in the world..." - This has always been true, generally speaking.
For what it's worth, I think you have to believe in something yourself. You'll always find someone in the future who likes it, and someone who doesn't. What does that mean? It simply means that different people have different opinions. You'll drive yourself crazy if you indefinitely want others' help to make up your own mind. In a sense, you should become an expert regarding that particular item, as you will spend more time analyzing it than anyone else. Therefore, you're the ultimate judge.
I'm not being critical, just trying to offer a perspective. It seems like you have doubt about this Harrison. Perry liked it and knows Harrison well. Perhaps you should sell it off and put the proceeds toward something you like better. Perry himself may take it on consignment.
You've built an impressive collection and will continue to add nice items to it.
+1 on the self education part especially! I agree - if I can't see it myself, I won't buy it.
Thanks for your comment.

Ive been saying this in the MJ threads and was beginning to sound like a broken record.
If youre into autographs and collecting there is no better or rewarding investment than becoming the expert opinion yourself!! It is infinitely doable!

So very well said!
Eric, I believe only one person commented on Daniels question of authenticity but the way you stated it “only one person on this entire thread thought it looked ok at first glance” kinda seems like he got a bunch of negative replies when in fact I only seen one so far, I’m not trying to be rude to you I’m only trying to help a fellow collector who asked 1 question and only got 1 reply and that reply was “looks ok at first glance” maybe he posted the question once before and he got a bunch of negatives? But on this thread/post only one person replied so far
Yes, I see I made a mistake with this thread. Thanks :) Sorry Daniel. Is there a link to the original Harrison post? I'd love to have seen the bidding history on that after what Steve just showed so clearly re shill bidding and that seller.
Starting bid was $400. There was only one bid (me) and I won this Harrison for only $400.
