Would anyone be able to advise me on how to recognize a George Lucas secretarial?  Do they even exist?  When I requested a signature from George many years ago I received a form letter stating that he was too busy.  What about back in the 1980s?  Thanks in advance.

Great story. Nothing to do with Lucas. Sort of the anti Lucas. I sent a similar letter to Stephen King years and years ago. I got back a letter saying that after his accident that he just wasn't up to signing. The letter said that some time in the future if he was better he would sign again. They sent back my item and I just forgot about it.

About two years later or more, I got a package in the mail with Stephen King's latest book and a letter from Stephen King saying that he apologized for how long it took, but he was sending me my autograph as promised and included the hard cover book. And it was at his own shipping expense as I did not send him the book. How's that for a cool guy.

Do you remember what book he sent you?  Just curious.

It's called Black House. I still have it.

Thanks Mike.  That is actually good news because from what I've been hearing he probably either signed or he didn't so as long as a signature isn't a forgery it's probably good.
