To me it seems it was hand written, but if I get my little scanner back on this week, I'll be able to tell more. Scanning in 600dpi always can reveal some interesting things on every photo. This trick can reveal even the age of some oldie photo, which seems new and vica-versa. And here is the signature after I played a little with the tone, contrast and color to separate the signature and the background. They're acting as two separate entities. And beneath is the two layered edition. As you can see, they're covering each other, arcs, loops, crossings are all the same, yet this signature differs from all the known one.

This is a very long shot but could someone post an image of the autograph that was discussed in this thread. The images from Istvan's analyses would also be interesting to see.
