Graysonline Autographs & Signed Items: Looking for Buyers Who May Be Owed Refunds for Buying Forgeries From Them

I am looking to compile a list of people who have purchased Autographs and signed items from the Graysonline auction website in Australia. This is for the purposes, primarily to stop the probable fraud, and for a possible future class action to retrieve all moneys to the victims.

The "vendors" of these auctions carry the certificates from two companies, Coolworld Collectables and Musiclegends collectables.

See attached images of the certificates in question.

For those people that have purchased any items on Ebay from ME, (arry_kewl) I will contact you and refund all monies and postage costs should this fraud be proven. I did not intend to pass on rubbish, and please accept my apologies for my part in this, even though it was not deliberate... I have all contact details saved in my Ebay account.

I will contact Ebay to try to have these certificates added to their banned list.

Hey Dylan / Jonathon

I have looked into some options we may have, and one worth pursuing is to put in a claim with your credit card provider, they will probably accept the PSA and Global opinions and are then able to retrieve the funds on your behalf as we are insured against fraud. I will put in a claim with my Westpac Mastercard and see what they say.

well i have already got my refund for the guitar but am going to have psa and global have a look at all my other items i got from them and then that option may be the best way to go

I have found myself here after recieving a message on ebay from a member telling me that my Rolling stones guitar i am selling is probably not real if it came from grays.... My C.O.A is from angel framing they have 3 shops across nsw and i purchased this from an insolvency lot sale at Grays It was not from the 2 mentioned companies above and i did phone the c.o.a in person and question her deeply before purchase, i was convinced this was real...can u help me plz i don't know where to start or end , it cost me some decent dolars :(

Hi Melissa, can you please upload images of your guitar?

done!! and thankyou

hope this helps :( i am so nervous

Thanks for the response Melissa, dont be nervous or embarrased, a few of us have been done, but we intend to build a group to take em on. I would suggest you make approaches to Grays to get a refund or your credit card bank for fraudulent item insurance, I would not hold your breath but the approaches need to be made to build the case... we do have responses that say you need the artist to deny the authenticity before they will review the case, but others have had their money refunded when going directly to the company (Coolworld have, don't hold your breath with Musiclegends).

In the end, we are trying to stop this fraud, as it is designed to be hit and miss, and make us go through a long drawn out process.. but some people will never realise their items are fake or just give up, and this is how they are ripping off millions from people like us... and there are plenty of us.

Now there is 5 of us, and building... and we can contact each other... steady as she goes.

I am never going to get my money back :( how do i prove it's fake to Grays?? the CoA was from angel Framing not coolworld or musiclegends this might be there first complaint about this company, Does anybody know of a genuine appraiser in Australia that maybe i could get to look at my guitar and deem it fake so i have a leg to stantd on... I now have to remove the sale off ebay and thank god no-one purchased it from me :( i would feel horrible. I won't give up fighting this as it is cruel and low to take advantage of someone like that...I feel stupid and i am really sad about this... I am ringing Grays today and consumer affairs on monday should i call the fraud squad in melbourne too?? my reciept is less than 30days old so fingers crossed that helps with a refund but after reading there refund policy i doubt it... would anyone like me to upload pic of latest COA i recieved ?? Oh and they called themselves linda & geoff pffft

Possibly a new company due to previous reputations?  but it may be worth having a quick opinion from a reputable authenticator, should cost less than $10.00, but it is only an opinion, not a forensic examination... a pic of the new certificate would be helpful

I have put a report in with the ACCC scamwatch website listed below.

https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/content/index.phtml/tag/reportascam/

it will help if you could do the same.

i had a quick look on the link provided but i am not the best with writting exactly what i want to say so i am actually going to phone them monday  and report this, i am also calling cosumer affairs on Grays and if no luck i will contact my creditcard company.... if you look at the certificate you will see a mobile number..i have rang it and they answered all my question but feel free to call them and try trip them up.. i also documented the time and date they called me back on my home number...hopefully throught the phone company i can get a rough location or even a different phone number, all the proof in the world probably won't help but i am gathering as we speak

I feel really sorry for the person who purchased the John Lennon signed guitar from the same austion lot.... it went for thousands :(
