Authenticity is Everything

GRIDIRON LEGENDS SELLING FAKE MICKEY MANTLE PHOTOS w/STEINER AUTHENTICATION
When is this crap from gridiron going to stop? They currently have twp Mickey Mantle signed 8x10 photo's (never before seen signed), with Steiner holograms and certificates for sale on eBay.

This is gridiron authentics from marshalls creek Pa. I have always wondered about their ties to celebrity authentics .

Although it has been well documented here that most of what they sell is fake, now they are going a step beyond and using Steiner to try and make themselves look legit. A call to Steiner will need to be placed tomorrow.

how can they get a hologram sticker and steiner coa? did they just take the sticker off of a real one and put it on a fake?

The "coa" is photoshopped, or fake, hard to tell from the picture. Steiner would never issue a credit card style coa for a mantle item, and even if they did it would be bar coded as an inventory item. The only mantle items that Steiner sells/sold are from Greer Johnson's collection and came with their own COA stating such. Also Steiner takes great pride in how their items look, that sticker placement is atrocious and would not make it out the door.
