Thank you, I thought it was kind of bad too.

signature is likely authentic, and probably looks better in person.

Aaron,Mays,Jackson unless told by handlers would sign upside down if you didnt keep an eye on them.

I agree with you 100% and have seen Aaron do it.

It is likely authentic but I agree it is not a desirable example of the legitimate career home run king.

$55.49, yikes. And Randy I totally agree with that remark about LEGITIMATE HR KING.

Bonds was a cheater plain and simple. Extremely talented yes. But still a cheater.

Absolutely true on both points. He would have clearly been a first ballot HOF'er if he had not used steroids. He would have likely hit 600 or so home runs without steroids but would have never touched Aaron's record. He hit 328 home runs in his first 11 major league seasons and 428 in his last 11 seasons including 73 at age 37 when his skills would have normally been diminishing. He will never get into the Hall. Hopefully, holding records that virtually no one recognizes as legitimate was worth it to him.

I really believe that when most real fans think of the home run record, they think of Aaron for lifetime, and Maris for single season.  I know I do.

I feel sorry for the modern baseball fans. The Hit leader banned. the "Home run leader" cheater. Single season HR leader cheater. The top  pitcher Clemons cheater. Very sad.

Playing devils advocate 100 grand might equal a mill today. I remember reading somewhere one of the phillies used to pump gas off season back in the fifties. I dont think that will happen again with todays overpaid 250 hitters.

Absolutely agree with you, feel the same way. Aaron still the all-time champ and Maris still single season record holder.
